Why Neemrana & Alwar

A Wedding in Neemrana & Alwar

Neemrana and the wider Alwar district sit between Delhi and Jaipur, which makes them Rajasthan’s most accessible heritage wedding region. Guests can drive in on the same morning, yet celebrate inside a 15th-century fort-palace, a hill fort or a quiet Aravalli retreat near the Sariska Tiger Reserve.

Heritage forts need careful planning: steep steps for elderly guests, full-property buyouts for large families, and décor that respects old structures. We plan the venue, logistics and design around those realities.

Planner’s Notes

What to Know Before Planning in Neemrana & Alwar

Steps and accessibility. Neemrana Fort-Palace has steep steps and ramps. Two lifts run from the parking area with prior notice (via Gate No. 3), and Kailash Burj suits guests who want to avoid stairs. We allocate rooms for elderly family accordingly.
Guest numbers. Fort-palaces work best as full buyouts. Amanbagh caps celebrations at 100 guests; for 500+ guests a modern hotel on NH-48 may be the better base.
Music timings. Outdoor loudspeakers must stop between 10 pm and 6 am under national noise rules; enclosed banquet halls are exempt.
Safaris. Sariska’s core zones close for the monsoon (1 July – 30 September). From October to June we can arrange safaris for guests.
Weather. October to March is best. Summer highs average around 41°C, and the monsoon peaks in July and August.
